The Sacred Heart Cemetery serves as a peaceful, consecrated resting place for parishioners and their loved ones. Situated southeast of Emporia along Road M-5 (halfway between South Avenue and Logan Avenue), the cemetery offers burial plots or inurnment spaces for families who wish to entrust their loved ones to the care of our parish.

The cemetery has been cared for by the parish for well over a century — originally established in the 1880s, then renewed and maintained over the years. For those seeking space, each burial/inurnment plot is available for purchase (currently priced at $500 for one space, allowing for two inurnments or one burial + one inurnment) — providing a practical, dignified option for final resting arrangements.
