The Sacred Heart School Commission, rooted in the teachings of Jesus, will assist the pastor and principal in enacting the mission of Sacred Heart School in forming excellent disciples of Christ.
The Commission exists as an advisory group with individuals with special skills, resources, and expertise or who are otherwise determined to be knowledgeable in an area that would add value to the advancement of Sacred Heart School and its mission. The structure of the Commission will consist of goal-specific committees.
Individual committee meeting frequency will vary based on need or event schedule with a minimum of 4 meetings per year. Each committee chairperson is responsible for contacting and arranging meetings with their committee members.
Committee chairs report to the Executive Committee after individual committee meetings to provide status updates on committee activities. Full Commission meetings are held 3 times per year. Executive committee and committee chairperson attendance is required.

Executive Committee: To provide overall Commission leadership and coordination of Commission functions and responsibilities. To act as a liaison with the school administration and Commission.

Operations Committee: To monitor budget and develop/propose cost effective options for operations. To prepare and monitor a long range financial plan for the school.

Development Committee: To assist the Commission in planning and carrying out development/institutional advancement activities including fundraising initiatives, and public relations. To serve in a leadership role with the administration and Commission on annual fund drives.

Marketing Committee : To assist the Administrator and Commission with creating, planning, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive program to market the school for image and enrollment.

Strategic Plan Review Committee: To monitor the development and progress of the Sacred Heart School strategic plan.

Alumni Committee: To manage outreach to Sacred Heart School alumni through newsletters, alumni events and social media. To organize giving campaigns and to maintain and grow alumni contact data information.

Building and Grounds Committee: To develop and monitor long-term facility maintenance, capital improvements and management plans for the school and parish grounds.
